OWWL blog:
Last week during OWWL has been full of outdoor adventure and shared laughter. We spent a whole morning in the woods, giving the children plenty of time to explore the space, adding to our den, digging, playing ‘hide and seek’ and as always we went over and followed our woodland rules. The children showed growing confidence and teamwork as they worked together in the natural environment.
While exploring, we discovered some very big spiders. The children observed them closely, talking about what they noticed, and some were even brave enough to gently hold them, showing curiosity and respect for living creatures.
We also embraced the wet weather with a puddle walk, using umbrellas and enjoying the rain. One of our grown-ups jumped into a very large puddle, splashing everyone and causing lots of laughter and excitement. It was a joyful experience that encouraged freedom, fun, and shared moments together.
