Rabbits blog:

The children enjoyed harvesting the crops. They had the chance to pull up carrots and potatoes from our allotment, exploring the textures and engaging in lively discussions with their peers about the size and shape of the vegetables. During our sensory play, the children were busy exploring soil in the tuff tray. They filled and emptied pots, got messy with large movements, and confidently used both hands to investigate the textures. The children took part in our bug hunt activity in the main garden. They worked collaboratively to search for insects, with one child ticking off findings on the checklist. The activity was highly engaging, promoting teamwork and encouraging them to share their observations and ideas with one another. The children continue to build their physical skills through regular use of our climbing frame. Their confidence in accessing it safely grows each day as they independently engage in climbing, walking, and sliding—making full use of their bodies.
