Under the Sea Adventures

The children have enjoyed exploring different animals in our water play area. They had lots of opportunities to splash, move the animals through the water and discover how they float and feel. These playful experiences encouraged curiosity, sensory exploration and language development as the children explored the animals and their watery environment.

Exploring Oranges and Pumpkins

The Hedgehog Base has also been exploring oranges and pumpkins! The children had the opportunity to investigate their colours, shapes, sizes and textures, using their senses to discover what makes each one unique. These hands-on experiences encouraged curiosity and helped develop the children’s awareness of the world around them.

Developing Our Fine Motor Skills

Our Hedgehogs have been busy strengthening their little fingers and hands through puzzles and pasta play. They have enjoyed scooping, pouring and filling containers, practising their hand-eye coordination and developing control over their movements. Completing puzzles has also encouraged problem-solving, concentration and perseverance.

It has been wonderful to see the children exploring at their own pace, making discoveries and building confidence through play. We look forward to sharing more of their exciting adventures and learning experiences!
