This week we have been making our own vinegar and bicarb of soda explosions in pumpkins to celebrate bonfire night. We spoke about safety when near fire and that we can’t use real fireworks at the Nursery. We sang a song about fireworks “we’re waiting for the fireworks as quiet as quiet can be, here come the fireworks FLASH BANG WEE!!!”

We have also spoken about growth change and decay over time. Planting some pumpkins and leaving some on top to watch their changes as they decompose.
